Obstetrics/ Gynecology

We are seeking a Locum OBGYN to begin as soon as possible for ongoing assignments near Coin, NV. A Nevada medical license is preferred.

Required Dates:

• May 21st, 7 AM to May 26th, 7 AM - Clinic/Call
• May 30th, 7 AM to June 4th, 7 AM - Clinic Only (Clinic and Call needed)
• June 29th, 7 AM to July 9th, 7 PM - Clinic Only (Clinic and Call needed)
• July 27th to August 6th, 7 PM - Clinic Only (Clinic and Call needed)
• August 10th, 7 AM to September 10th, 7 PM - Clinic Only (Clinic and Call needed)
• September 28th, 7 AM to October 8th, 7 PM - Clinic Only (Clinic and Call needed)
• October 12th, 7 AM to October 19th, 7 AM - Clinic/Call
• November 2nd, 7 AM to November 12th, 7 PM - Clinic Only (Clinic and Call needed)
• November 30th, 7 AM to December 10th, 7 PM - Clinic Only (Clinic and Call needed)
• December 14th, 7 AM to January 3rd, 7 AM - Clinic/Call (Clinic and Call needed)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour call coverage.
• Work in the clinic 3 to 4 days a week, covering call as needed.
• Call Type: Beeper.
• Practice Settings: Outpatient and Inpatient.

Essential Skills Required:

• Management of low-risk and high-risk pregnancies.
• Performing and interpreting OB ultrasounds.
• Conducting routine deliveries, including vaginal births and low forceps deliveries.
• Making decisions regarding C-sections and managing complicated deliveries.
• Handling breech presentations and multiple births, as well as abruptions.

Preferred Skills:

• Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE).
• Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) assessments.

Additional Information:

• Average annual deliveries: 375.
• EMR System: MEDHOST.
• Must be licensed in NV or hold IMLC.
• Fellowship training is preferred.
• Certifications: ABLS, ACLS.
• Responsibilities include providing prenatal care.
• Credentialing timeframe: 30 to 45 days.
• Referral bonus of $2000 for any referral who completes 160 hours.
• Competitive rates for weeknight call premiums if called in; weekend call equals 6 regular hours per day premium when called in.
