The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at our organization is actively seeking a full-time physician to join the Division of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology. About Our DepartmentOur Department is dedicated to providing comprehensive women's health services, ensuring high-quality patient care while emphasizing education and research.
- Approximately 60,000 patient visits and 3,000 deliveries each year.
- Multidisciplinary programs in areas such as maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, urogynecology, and reproductive endocrinology.
- Active participation in clinical innovation, resident education, and research supported by NIH and various foundations.

Position OverviewThe selected candidate will engage in direct clinical care, research, and the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. We value creativity in program development and growth, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively. Candidates should be adept at providing a wide range of obstetrical and gynecologic care, including surgery for medically complex patients. Special interests in women's health care are welcomed and supported. Academic rank will be based on qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver care as an obstetrician/gynecologist at our affiliated hospital.
- Consult with patients at various clinics and perform both major and minor gynecologic surgeries.
- Participate in rotating night and weekend on-call duties.
- Contribute to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows through teaching and committee involvement.
- Engage in scholarly activities, including research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Board eligible or certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Eligibility for a Florida Medical License.
- Terminal doctoral degree in a clinical science (MD or DO). Additional degrees such as an MBA or MPH are encouraged.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
