Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated professional to be an integral part of our patients' treatment journey. As a Registered Physical Therapist, you will evaluate, assess, and provide services in accordance with a treatment plan established by a physician. You will also oversee the work of Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting thorough assessments, which may involve OASIS data elements, to determine the patient's physical functioning and need for therapy services.
- Collaborating with physicians and engaging with patients and caregivers to develop a comprehensive plan of care aimed at maximizing rehabilitation potential.
- Implementing prescribed treatments and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants in executing the therapy program.
- Creating and instructing patients on home exercise programs (HEP), documenting these instructions in visit notes.
- Monitoring and reporting any significant changes in the patient's condition to the physician and communicating these updates to the care team.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of all services in accordance with agency policies.
- Exhibiting professionalism in all interactions and situations.
- Providing the agency with necessary documentation, including a copy of your license/registration, to verify your qualifications.
- Accepting only those assignments for which you are qualified.
- Adhering to all applicable state, federal, local, and agency regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ensuring the confidentiality of all patient and agency information.
- Complying with all policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations.
Regulatory Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program recognized by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
- Current licensure/registration as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas.
- At least one year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience working under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist for a minimum of one year.
- This position is part of our Driver Safety program, requiring a valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with minimum coverage of 100,000/300,000/100,000.

CompensationThe salary range provided below represents a good faith estimate of the starting base pay for full-time employment (40 hours per week) at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, including skills, experience, education, and certifications.
Salary Range: $93,000 - $128,000 per year
This position is also eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on individual and/or company performance.
