POSITION OVERVIEW

  • An excellent opportunity awaits either an experienced Board-Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician or a newly trained Board Eligible Physician.
  • Become part of our high-achieving multi-specialty team at a new practice site, providing exceptional professional development for OB/Gyn Physicians.
  • On-call schedule is 1:5.
  • Our clinic features onsite Ultrasound, Colposcopy, LEEP procedures, and Stress Testing.
  • Antepartum and Acute Care services are provided at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, the sixth-largest medical facility in Illinois. This center is a key teaching affiliate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria and serves as the region's only Level 1 Trauma Center and tertiary care facility.
  • Approximately 2,300 deliveries are conducted annually at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
  • In-house care for the smallest patients is provided by a Level IV NICU and Level III Nursery, along with Pediatric specialists and hospitalists at OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois.

  • The full-time clinical salary range for this role is between $437,000 and $500,000.

    • This range is an estimate and may vary based on factors such as the critical need for the position, overall experience, qualifications, community demand, and other considerations. Additional compensation may include bonuses or incentives based on performance metrics.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Doctorate. Licenses/Certifications: Must be a licensed Physician in the state of practice.
  • Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty(ies). Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Eligibility as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs is required.
  • Must meet all qualifications to participate in our professional malpractice and liability coverage programs.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

Demonstrates the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver patient care that aligns with the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served.
