Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager
Job Description
Our organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager located in Cooperstown, NY.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all management tasks for the designated unit
Assist in the development and execution of employee policies and procedures
Guide and mentor junior nurses, providing both clinical and career guidance
Ensure adherence to care standards within the unit
Evaluate Resident records and the quality of care provided
Supervise overall care and assess individual cases of Residents
Respond to inquiries or concerns raised by Residents or their families
Advocate for the unit’s needs with upper management
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid State RN License
Preferred: 3 years of experience in Long Term Care
Preferred: 2 years of experience as a Charge Nurse
Proficient computer skills are essential
Strong communication abilities are required
