Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist
Job Description
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is on the lookout for a full-time maternal-fetal medicine specialist who is either board certified or board eligible. This role will support the outpatient faculty practices and the Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns. The selected candidate will be appointed as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Reporting to the Chair and the Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine, the responsibilities of this position include:
Delivering clinical care in an outpatient environment, which encompasses antepartum visits, preventive gynecologic care, and executing office procedures.
Participating in an in-house labor and delivery call coverage pool specifically for maternal-fetal medicine patients at the Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns.
Providing clinical services that involve interpreting ultrasound scans and overseeing the antepartum testing unit.
Caring for both antepartum and postpartum inpatients.
Teaching and supervising medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers.
Engaging in continuing medical education and contributing to departmental quality initiatives.

Salary Range: $390,000 (Assistant Professor)

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates should possess a medical degree, have completed a 4-year ACGME-accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology, and have finished a 3-year ACGME-accredited fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine. Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine. A valid New York State Medical License is required, along with a strong commitment to excellence and education.
