Position Overview:- Employment Type: Full-time at our 195-bed, Level I Trauma Center
- Standard Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- In-House Call Rotation: Approximately 1:2.7 days (one weeknight per week and 1-2 weekends per month)
- Weeknight In-House Call: 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. following an 8-hour shift
- Coverage Areas: Trauma or obstetrics
- Post-Call Day Off: Provided for in-house coverage
- Pager Call Rotation: 2nd, 3rd, and 4th calls with an approximate 20-minute response time
- Call Volume: Moderate
- EMR System: EPIC
- Administer anesthesia for trauma, high-risk obstetrics (Level III Perinatal Center), orthopedic, and general surgical procedures
- Manage 14 operating rooms, including all-hands-on trauma cases
- Support from a Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Collaborate with MDs, CRNAs (mainly in the endoscopy suite), surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary care planning
- MD/DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology
- Recent, comprehensive trauma experience is essential
- Experience in regional and obstetric anesthesia is required
- Capability to deliver high-quality anesthesia in a multidisciplinary, high-acuity environment
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a patient-centered approach
- Base Salary: $550,000 (General), $630,000 (Cardiac)
- Potential additional allocation of up to $100,000 for student loan repayment and/or sign-on bonus
