PERM - Neurologist Outpatient VHS is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neurologist to join our outpatient practice in Dothan, AL. Overview: This outpatient Neurologist role involves delivering expert neurological assessments and treatments at a single clinic location, with no weekend, call, or holiday requirements. The practice is supported by a team of neurointerventionalists, neurohospitalists, and a dedicated neurosciences team, including stroke teleneurology services and a Neuromuscular Rehab & Balance Center. The position emphasizes quality patient care, professional growth, and work-life balance. Required Skills: Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology Proven experience in outpatient neurology practice Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in neurology Excellent communication and patient management abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Nice to Have Skills: Experience with neurointerventional procedures Knowledge of stroke management and teleneurology systems Additional certifications in neurology subspecialties Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Completion of a neurology residency program Prior outpatient neurology experience preferred Other Requirements: Valid medical license to practice in Alabama Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Willingness to participate in ongoing education and professional development Compensation includes a competitive annual base salary above MGMA standards, with a productivity bonus option. Total pay combines an hourly rate and per diem, if applicable.
