Job Opportunity: Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician

Our organization is looking for a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to become part of a growing practice in the picturesque community of Cortland, New York. This position involves a combination of inpatient and outpatient care, working alongside a collaborative team of certified nurse midwives and nurse practitioners.

The clinic operates under an integrated practice model, featuring a robust internal referral network and easy access to various specialists. Physicians will receive strong support from leadership, particularly from a dedicated Chair who actively participates in on-call duties across all OB/GYN locations, emphasizing the well-being of the medical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care.
  • Collaborate with a team of nurse midwives and nurse practitioners.
  • Utilize advanced technology, including a DaVinci robot in the operating room.
  • Participate in a supportive and collegial work environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule.
  • Stable nursing support in both inpatient (LDRP) and outpatient settings.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging from $350,000 to $400,000.
  • Sign-on bonus available.
  • Loan repayment options totaling $150,000.
  • Relocation assistance of $15,000.
  • Annual budget of $3,400 for conference registration, certification, and membership fees for specialty-specific medical societies.

About the Workplace

Our facility, a 197-bed acute care hospital, became part of our healthcare system in February 2024. It features a surgery center, cancer center, birthing center, and offers a range of services including infusion, laboratory, imaging, and mental health services. Additionally, we provide in-home care through a dedicated hospice and home care team, along with two mobile mammography vans, two mobile dental vans, and a mobile medical van, which are unique offerings in the region.
