Position Overview

We are currently in search of a Dental Hygienist to work in Big Spring, TX, within a federal correctional setting.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $50.00
• Sign-On Bonus: $1,500

Schedule

Work hours will not exceed 40 hours per week, scheduled between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for a variety of services, including but not limited to:

• Administering dental prophylaxis for inmates as referred by the dental team.
• Providing personalized oral hygiene instructions to each patient.
• Monitoring the oral hygiene and periodontal health of patients receiving dental prophylaxis.
• Completing necessary dental x-rays as directed by the dentist.
• Sterilizing instruments used for prophylaxis and other specified tools.
• Handling paperwork related to patient scheduling for dental prophylaxis as instructed by the dental staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Certification or licensure as a Dental Hygienist in any U.S. state or commonwealth is required.
