Exciting New OB Hospitalist Nocturnist Opportunity in Family-Friendly, Saratoga Springs, New York

Compensation Range: $300K - $350K

Our organization is in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to become a vital part of our committed team, which includes physician OB/GYNs and Certified Nurse Midwives. Additionally, our team comprises several outpatient-only Certified Nurse Midwives and Nurse Practitioners.

The Hospitalist will be responsible for delivering care to a diverse array of hospital-based OB/GYN patients. Our thriving OB program is expanding, with an anticipated 986 deliveries in 2025.

We provide tailored care in both the hospital environment and our outpatient women's health facility, which is situated in a spacious, fully renovated area.

The expected work schedule will consist of 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with approximately 13 weeknight shifts (Monday to Friday) within a 28-day cycle. Occasionally, a day shift may be required as part of these 13 shifts.

As a member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering in-hospital obstetrical services in collaboration with Certified Nurse Midwives, which encompasses emergency cesarean sections, spontaneous vaginal births, operative vaginal births, patient triage, and rounding on antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients, as well as performing circumcisions.
• Providing in-hospital gynecological care, including emergency gynecological procedures, consultations, and care for admitted patients.
• Responding to patient inquiries from the practice, along with calls from nursing staff, the Emergency Department, Urgent Care, and consultations.
• Engaging in resident education, particularly with Family Medicine residents.

You will also have the opportunity to support your colleagues, including highly trained and experienced Registered Nurses, a Board Certified Neonatologist (Director of Newborn Medicine), and a team of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners. Anesthesia coverage will be readily available.
