Qualifications for the Registered Dental Hygienist Role:

• Must possess a valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR certification is required
• Strong attention to detail regarding oral health and patient care

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH):

• Educating patients on dental health, including tooth care and nutrition
• Removing plaque and tartar through scaling and polishing
• Providing treatment for periodontal disease through therapy
• Taking digital impressions and dental X-rays
• Applying preventive materials such as sealants and topical fluorides
• Conducting screenings and monitoring procedures
