Ob-Gyn Opportunity in North Tampa Suburb

Our organization is on the lookout for several board-certified or board-eligible obstetricians and gynecologists to join our vibrant and welcoming team, which has been serving the community for over two decades. We primarily cater to adult patients, with some adolescent cases. The new Ob-Gyns will be part of our team based in St. Petersburg, while practicing at our facility located in Trinity, just 30 minutes north of Tampa.

• Pasco County, situated on the Gulf Coast of west-central Florida, lies directly north of the Tampa/St. Petersburg area and approximately 50 miles west of Orlando. This region is among the fastest-growing in the United States while still offering a reasonable cost of living. It is celebrated as one of the finest places to live in North Tampa Bay, featuring diverse housing options, several highly-rated golf courses, abundant shopping, and excellent educational institutions. Residents benefit from convenient access to Tampa International Airport and the stunning Gulf beaches.

• Initially, our new Ob-Gyns will concentrate solely on gynecology until the practice expands to accommodate a 1:5 call schedule. Once established, our team will begin delivering babies for our patients.

• Ob-Gyns will perform deliveries exclusively at one facility. HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is a modern, 272-bed hospital with all-private rooms, serving the tri-county area of Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough. The hospital handles over 1,500 deliveries each year, utilizing Epic for electronic medical records.

• Trinity offers an Ob-Gyn hospitalist program to support coverage during nights, weekends, holidays, and vacations.

• Our organization has a robust physician presence in Pasco County, including maternal-fetal medicine and various subspecialty support such as gynecologic oncology, general surgery, and urology.

• A new 56-bed pediatric hospital is currently under construction in Wesley Chapel, named Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Wesley Chapel. This facility will provide a variety of services and is expected to open in 2027.

• While this role is primarily clinical, Ob-Gyns in Trinity have the chance to engage in teaching opportunities, including active involvement in Ob-Gyn simulation training at our state-of-the-art Center for Medical Simulation and Innovative Education.

• Our teaching hospital is a 259-bed facility recognized as a U.S. News & World Report Best Children's Hospital in eight pediatric specialties. We have been ranked as the #1 Children's Hospital in Florida for three consecutive years and #4 in the Southeast.

• The Tampa-St. Petersburg area is centrally located, providing easy access to many of Florida's top attractions, just 90 miles from Orlando and four hours from Miami.
