Sales Manager: Industrial Bearings - MidlandsThe Company:Global leading manufacturer involved in Bearings, Power Transmission and Automotive componentsExcellent opportunities for growth and developmentInvolved in the Automotive, Industrial and Aftermarket sides of the industryMulti-Billion turnoverBenefits package:£45K - £55K Basic Salary10% Annual bonus based on individual and company performanceCompany CarPensionLaptopMobileHome setup22 days annual leave + Christmas shut downThe Role : Sales ManagerAs the Sales Manager you will be selling bearings to the Industrial OEM marketDealing with industries such as Off-Highway Vehicles, Mobile OEM, Agricultural and Construction Vehicles, Pump manufacturers, Gearbox manufacturers, Steel, Machine Tool manufacturers etc...The role will entail about 60% managing large Key Accounts and 40% looking for new business, though it won't be cold callingCovering the Midlands though you will need to go further afield from time to time2-3 days per week on the road with the remainder from home or the office depending on locationThe Ideal PersonIdeally experience selling Bearings or other Power Transmission products into OEM's, end users or aftermarketNeed to be HUNTER and FARMER, able to manage the key accounts as well as growing new businessNo qualification required, but you must have an engineering appreciationIdeally experience working for a Bearings or Power Transmission manufacturer in the past. They will consider from a distribution background, but would like someone a little more specialised that a standard rep or with a qualificationEven better if you have experience as an engineer in the pastHard working, self motivated, drivenA full driving licence is essentialYou must live in the Midlands, East or West, but it needs to be well located for the road network.You need the full right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship, now or in future (no sponsorship available, sorry)If the above is of interest to you and you fit with the Ideal Person section, then please get in touch with us.
