Our customer base includes international food service providers, restaurants, and households in over 100 countries around the world.To provide support to the operational team by delivering competent SHE guidance, ensuring legal and company compliance, driving continuous improvement, and promoting a positive safety culture across all activities. Acting as a trusted advisor, the position helps reduce risk, prevent incidents, and strengthen the organisations overall SHE performance by supporting the SHE Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day advice and guidance on safety, health and environmental matters.Support managers in implementing company SHE policies, procedures and standards.Conduct workplace inspections, audits and behavioural safety observations.Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and environmental events, identifying root causes and corrective actions.Monitor and report on SHE performance indicators and trends.Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant UK legislation and company requirements.Support the management and maintenance of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems.Assist with environmental permit compliance, monitoring and reporting activities.Deliver SHE inductions, toolbox talks and awareness training.Support emergency preparedness activities, including drills and exercises.Promote employee engagement and participation in SHE initiatives.Assist with contractor management and permit-to-work compliance.Support internal and external audits and coordinate follow-up actions.Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing risk, waste, environmental impact and energy consumption.Qualifications NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) essentialExperience supporting ISO 14001 desirableExperience supporting ISO 50001 or energy management initiatives desirableIOSH membership or working towards desirableEnvironmental qualification (e.g. IEMA or NEBOSH Environmental ) desirableExperience in manufacturing / food processing / FMCG environment preferredBenefits 25 days holidaySimplyhealth cash planFree electric car charging on siteEAP schemeStaff salesIf this sounds like a good fit to you please contact us for an informal 'get to know you chat' and we'll go from there.TPBN1_UKTJ
