Role Overview CNC Setter OperatorWe are seeking a highly skilled CNC Operator to join a well-established precision engineering business in High Wycombe. This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer with a strong background in the manufacture of compression springs, tension springs, torsion springs and wireforms.The successful candidate will have proven experience setting, operating and optimising CNC spring-making machinery, taking responsibility for machine setup, tooling, production quality and process improvements. You will play a key role in ensuring customer specifications are met while maintaining high standards of efficiency, accuracy and workmanship throughout the manufacturing process.Key Duties CNC OperatorManufacture compression springs, tension springs, torsion springs and wireforms to customer specifications and tolerancesSet, operate and adjust CNC spring-making machines to achieve optimal production outputInterpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and production requirementsCarry out tooling changes, machine setup and process adjustments where requiredPerform metal forming and manipulation processes using a variety of workshop equipment and hand toolsOperate additional workshop machinery including mills, lathes, grinders and guillotines as requiredInspect, measure and verify finished components using appropriate measuring equipmentTroubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiencyRequirements CNC OperatorProven experience manufacturing compression springs, tension springs, torsion springs and/or wireformsExperience operating and setting CNC spring-making machinesStrong understanding of spring manufacturing processes and toolingAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specificationsExperience using precision measuring equipment and quality inspection processesGood mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skillsExperience within a precision engineering or metalworking environmentInterested?If you're interested in the role of CNC Operator , click to apply, or contact Todd McGreevy at Orion Electrotech for more information:01296 737313INDMIDThank you for your application.
