Children's Senior Support Worker Location: Foulridge, Near Colne, LancashireSalary: £39,184 per annum (including an average of 8 sleep-ins per month)Job Type: Full-Time | PermanentMake a Difference Every Day P4 Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with an established and highly respected children's residential care provider to recruit a Children's Senior Support Worker for a welcoming home near Colne .If you're passionate about supporting young people and looking for a rewarding career where no two days are the same, this could be the perfect opportunity.Every conversation, every achievement and every breakthrough helps shape brighter futures for children and young people who have experienced significant challenges in their lives.About the Role As a Senior Support Worker, you'll play an important role in supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs within a nurturing, family-style residential home.Alongside providing high-quality care, you'll support and guide staff on shift, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained while helping young people build confidence, independence and positive life experiences.Your responsibilities will include: Supporting young people with daily routines, education and activitiesLeading and motivating staff during shiftsPromoting positive outcomes and individualised careBuilding trusting relationships with children and young peopleCompleting and updating care plans and daily recordsSupporting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviourPlanning fun and engaging activities both in the home and communityMaintaining accurate electronic care recordsWorking closely with the management team to ensure outstanding care standardsAbout the Home The service is a warm, welcoming residential home providing care for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.The focus is on creating a genuine family environment where young people feel safe, respected and encouraged to achieve their personal, educational and social goals. Staff work collaboratively to promote independence, resilience and positive outcomes through meaningful relationships and engaging activities.What We're Looking For We're looking for compassionate individuals who genuinely want to make a difference.Ideally, you'll have:Experience supporting children or young people (residential experience desirable)A caring, patient and resilient approachExcellent communication and leadership skillsA willingness to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (if not already achieved)A full UK manual driving licence (essential)Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-insWhat's on Offer?
