Join our Team!We are excited to be recruiting a Dental Nurse to join our team at M & S Dental Care in Fort William. There is full and part time hours available. We have nine dental suites and a dedicated two room decontamination unit all equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology. Our team is able to give you all the information you need on the services that are available to you, to give you the best smile possible and to make your experience with us as pleasant and relaxed as it can be.There is free parking at the practice.Your RoleYou will be responsible for providing chair side support in all day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries. You will play an important role in a ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care while complying with all clinical and health & safety guidance.Other duties includeCreating a welcoming environment for patients that sets them at ease from the outsetMaximising the use of the internal system (Software of Excellence) to ensure accurate patient records are maintainedEnsuring the surgery is set up appropriately for each session throughout the day to maximise the efficiency of the practice and surgery utilisationAnticipating the requirements of the clinician and patient in advance of their session and ensure necessary lab work and equipment is in placeMonitoring surgery stocks to ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintainedUndertaking reception duties when required including answering the telephone, making appointments and collecting patient chargesAbout YouMust be GDC registeredExperience working in Private / NHS practices is beneficialWilling to demonstrate the highest levels of patient careThe ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a teamEnthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skillsBenefitsWe know that in order to attract and retain the best talent, we must always look at ways in which we can keep our colleagues smiling.
