Commercial Manager – MEICA Projects North West England | Permanent | ? Major ProjectsThe Opportunity We're working with a leading UK engineering and infrastructure contractor who is expanding their major projects division. They are now looking for an experienced Commercial Manager with strong MEICA expertise to lead the commercial delivery of large-scale, complex programmes.This is a high-impact role offering full project ownership , real autonomy, and the chance to help shape a growing commercial function within a well-established business.The Role As Commercial Manager, you'll take responsibility for the commercial management of £50m+ infrastructure projects , working across the full lifecycle from pre-contract through to final account.Key Responsibilities Lead commercial delivery across major MEICA projectsOwn financial performance, cost control, and risk managementOversee project controls including forecasting, reporting, and change managementSupport tendering, estimating, and commercial risk reviewsManage contract negotiations with clients and supply chainPartner closely with project delivery teams to drive commercial strategyDevelop strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisorContribute to building and mentoring a growing commercial teamAbout You Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial roleStrong background in MEICA, M&E, or engineering-led projectsExperience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects (£50m+)Solid understanding of contracts, commercial frameworks, and project controlsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsDegree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (or equivalent)Chartered status desirable but not essentialWhy Apply?
