However, you will need experience driving 3.5 tonne vehicles, a good level of fitness and the ability to complete manual handling tasks.DUTIESYour duties as the 3.5 Tonne Driver include:Vehicle Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a 3.5 tonne vehicle equipped with a specialist vacuum tanker system, with additional training providedSite Services: Empty waste holding tanks, welfare units and water tanks at customer sitesHealth and Safety : Ensure all work is carried out in line with relevant health and safety regulations and environmental guidelinesRecord Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including waste volumes and customer informationVehicle Checks: Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good working orderCustomer Service: Provide a professional, helpful and reliable service to clients at each siteCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSESSENTIALValid UK Driving Licence, including Category C1 as required by the rolePrevious experience driving 3.5 tonne vehiclesGood driving and manoeuvring skills, including confidence working in confined spacesStrong understanding of road safety regulationsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysically fit and able to lift and carry equipmentExcellent time management and organisational skillsCustomer service-focused approachOwn vehicle to get to and from the site to pick up the tankerDESIRABLEPrevious experience within waste management or a similar industryExperience operating vacuum tanker systemsExperience towing trailers7.5 tonne licenceHOW TO APPLYTo be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
