Forklift Driver

Job&Talent team is looking for an experienced Forklift Driver / Telescopic Handler Off-Loading Operator to join our team supporting operations within Unipart, JCB manufacturing environment. This role involves the safe unloading of deliveries, movement of materials, and supporting production lines to ensure an efficient flow of components.Shift Patterns:Monday to Thursday:06:00 - 14:30, Friday: 06:00 - 13:00Pay Rates:Standard: £14.16 per hourOvertime: £21.24 per hour (paid after 39 standard hours)Key Responsibilities for Forklift Driver:Operate Forklift and Telehandler equipment safely within a busy Unipart, JCB siteOff-load trailers, HGV deliveries, and inbound goodsMove pallets, components, and materials to designated storage or production areasHandling oversized componentsPack and crate VOR booms using a nail gun, ensuring they are prepared safely for storage and transportationComplete safety checks, records, and paperwork as requiredWork closely with warehouse teams, line feeders, and site supervisorsWork as part of a busy yard operation with frequent HGV, vehicle and pedestrian movementEnsure compliance with all Unipart, JCB safety and housekeeping standardsRequirements for Forklift Driver:Valid Forklift Counterbalance and/or Telescopic Handler licence (RTITB / ITSSAR desirable) Experience working in a high volume industrial or manufacturing settingAbility to work to deadlines and follow site proceduresGood communication and teamwork skillsThis role involves both indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditionsBenefits for Forklift Driver:Ongoing work with long term opportunitiesFree onsite parkingSubsidised canteenWeekly pay33 Holidays per year, aligned with site shutdown periodsPension SchemeMortgage referencesLocation: Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, ST14 5JPDuration: OngoingThis is an amazing opportunity for anyone looking for Forklift Driver jobs in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.
