Class 2 HGV DriverLocation: Swadlincote, DerbyshireSalary: £19.00 per hourWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, average 910 hour shiftsContract: Ongoing work with potential for a permanent positionWe are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 2 HGV Drivers for ongoing work with a well-established company operating a modern fleet of vehicles.This is an excellent opportunity for the right driver, with the potential for long-term, ongoing work and the possibility of a permanent position.The RoleAs a Class 2 HGV Driver, your responsibilities will include:Delivering building materials to building sitesCompleting approximately 23 deliveries per shiftDriving mainly curtain-sided vehiclesDelivering to building sites with no handball requiredWorking as part of a supportive transport teamFollowing delivery instructions and completing all required paperworkCarrying out vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is operated safelyWorking to agreed delivery schedules and company proceduresThe fleet is less than three years old, providing drivers with access to modern and well-maintained vehicles.Working Hours Monday to Friday, day workAverage working day of approximately 910 hoursStart times may vary depending on delivery locations and estimated mileageOccasional nights out may be requiredWeekend work is very rareRequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must:Hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licenceHave held your licence for a minimum of 12 monthsBe aged 25 or over for insurance purposesHave no more than 3 penalty points on your licenceHave a good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulationsBe reliable, professional and safety-consciousBe comfortable delivering to building sitesBe able to work independently and as part of a teamA full induction will be completed on your first shift, and you will receive all relevant information and instructions before starting work.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for regular Monday-to-Friday work with the potential for ongoing employment.TPBN1_UKTJ
