Sales EngineerOur client specialises in injection moulding and tooling solutions for the Medical, Industrial and Consumer Products industries in the UK. Employing 60 staff across its sites in the UK and China, they work closely with design consultancies to deliver bespoke new products from concept to manufacture. They now seek to recruit a highly motivated individual in the North East who is looking to build a career as a Sales Engineer within the manufacturing/engineering sector.Your specific responsibilities will include:Partnering with a third-party lead generation company to nurture profitable commercial relationships with design consultancies and medium-sized OEMsCommunicating with UK clients and prospects over the phone, via Teams and in personDelivering presentations and negotiating salesManaging a selection of key customer accountsObtaining all relevant project and commercial informationSupporting with the preparation of quotations and the delivery of after-sales supportWorking closely with the technical projects and production teams to meet customer requirementsAs Sales Engineer you will need:A strong desire to work in a sales capacity in the Engineering/Manufacturing sectorPreferably a knowledge of or interest in injection moulding and/or product developmentA positive, professional customer-facing attitudeA consultative selling styleGood organisation and attention to detailFull UK driving licenceRewards & benefits:Salary: £37-47k paCar allowance: £500 pcmMileage allowance25 days holiday + bank holidaysProgression to senior salesPleasenote:Highlevelsofinterestmeanthatwewillonlycontactyouifyourapplicationisshortlistedandthiswillhappenwithinfiveworkingdays.YoumustbeeligibletoworkintheUK.TPBN1_UKTJ
