Senior Business Manager

Location: West Midlands (DY6)Sector: Logistics & Supply ChainSalary:£60,000-£85,000 (DOE) + OTE (to be clarified)Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pmWorking Pattern: Hybrid (2 days in the office)Start Date: ASAP

Our client, a growing business within the logistics and supply chain sector, is looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Air, Sea & Road Freight to establish and lead its Freight Forwarding division.

This is a unique opportunity to build a department from the ground up, working closely with senior leadership to develop operations, drive business growth, build customer relationships and recruit a high-performing team.

• Lead the development and growth of the Air, Sea & Road Freight division.
\n
• Develop operational processes and best practices.
\n
• Build, mentor and manage the freight forwarding team.
\n
• Develop relationships with customers, overseas agents and suppliers.
\n
• Drive new business opportunities and revenue growth.
\n
• Oversee day-to-day freight forwarding operations.
\n
• Ensure compliance with customs and import/export regulations.
\n
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
\n

You'll have:

\n
• Proven Air & Sea Freight forwarding experience.
\n
• Previous management or senior leadership experience.
\n
• Strong commercial and business development skills.
\n
• Excellent knowledge of international freight forwarding.
\n
• Customs and Road Freight experience (desirable).
\n
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
\n
• A proactive, entrepreneurial approach.
\n

• £60,000-£85,000 basic salary (dependent on experience).
\n
• OTE: To be clarified.
\n
• Hybrid working (2 days in the office).
