Senior Manager - Air, Sea & Road FreightLocation: West Midlands (DY6)Sector: Logistics & Supply ChainSalary: £60,000-£85,000 (DOE) + OTE (to be clarified)Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pmWorking Pattern: Hybrid (2 days in the office)Start Date: ASAPThe OpportunityOur client, a growing business within the logistics and supply chain sector , is looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Air, Sea & Road Freight to establish and lead its Freight Forwarding division.This is a unique opportunity to build a department from the ground up, working closely with senior leadership to develop operations, drive business growth, build customer relationships and recruit a high-performing team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and growth of the Air, Sea & Road Freight division.Develop operational processes and best practices.Build, mentor and manage the freight forwarding team.Develop relationships with customers, overseas agents and suppliers.Drive new business opportunities and revenue growth.Oversee day-to-day freight forwarding operations.Ensure compliance with customs and import/export regulations.Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.About YouYou'll have:Proven Air & Sea Freight forwarding experience.Previous management or senior leadership experience.Strong commercial and business development skills.Excellent knowledge of international freight forwarding.Customs and Road Freight experience (desirable).Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.A proactive, entrepreneurial approach.What's on Offer£60,000-£85,000 basic salary (dependent on experience).OTE: To be clarified.Hybrid working (2 days in the office).Opportunity to build and lead a growing division.Excellent long-term career prospects.ApplyIf you're looking for an opportunity to shape a growing freight forwarding operation and make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
