HSE Team Manager (m/f/d)

With our team of dedicated employees, we develop, plan, build, operate and finance photovoltaic systems in Germany, Europe and worldwide tailor-made with a standardized approach.What you can expect: As HSE Team Manager (m/f/d) in the UK, you will take responsibility for leading our on-site HSE / CDM Managers and further developing our HSE standards, processes and reporting structures. You will play a key role in strengthening health, safety and environmental performance across our UK projects, supporting both site operations and back-office HSE processes.The role is based at our Farnborough UK Office and includes regular travel to project sites across the UK.Tasks:Lead and support the on-site HSE / CDM Managers across UK projectsHold the HSE team accountable for site HSE performance and reportingConduct regular site visits and spot checks to monitor HSE standardsLead incident management processes and support follow-up actionsCarry out performance reviews for HSE team membersSupport the Tendering team with HSE input for PQQs, RFQs and ITTsReview employers requirements from an HSE perspectiveConduct annual reviews of HSE policies and proceduresMonitor legislative changes and ensure implementation in UK processesSupport the achievement of relevant ISO certifications for the UK entityPlan and deliver HSE training for HSE / CDM Managers, Site Managers and Site SupervisorsWork closely with Project Delivery and ESG teams to improve UK delivery standards related to HSEProfile: Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related fieldSeveral years of experience in HSE, ideally within utility-scale solar projectsStrong understanding of site-based HSE / CDM management in the UKExperience in leading, coordinating or developing HSE teamsGood understanding of HSE policies, procedures and regulatory requirementsExperience with incident management, site inspections and HSE reportingKnowledge of ISO certification processes would be an advantageStrong communication and interpersonal skillsStructured, organized and solution-oriented way of workingConfident leadership style with the ability to hold teams accountableFluent English skillsWillingness to travel regularly to project sites across the UKBenefits: Open, trusting and professional cooperation with a focus on success and enjoyment in daily workCooperation with a highly trained international team in a dynamic, international marketBest conditions for independent work as well as exciting and challenging topicsThe opportunity to actively shape and improve HSE standards within a growing UK organizationParticipation in shaping the global energy revolutionEmployee eventsTPBN1_UKTJ
