HGV Class 1 Driver

Job Description:Job OverviewWe are seeking a professional HGV 1 Driver based in Bedford to join our dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, primarily Double decker Vehicles The position is paid and requires a valid HGV licence, with a particular emphasis on commercial driving experience.Delivering to Storeswe have both store deliveries or Tramping.Stores shift patterns are between 01:00-04:00 or 08:00-16:00Any 5 or 4 days out of 7 but must cover at least one weekend dayPaye only £21.50 During the week, weekends £23.50 all inclusive on holiday pay.Tramping Role:4 on 4 off 00:00-01:004 on 4 off 01:00-02:004 on 4 off 11:00-12:00QualificationsValid HGV 1 (Class 1) licence for at least 6monthsProven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles or similar equipmentDelivery driver experience is highly desirableGood knowledge of Bedford and surrounding areas for efficient route planningAbility to operate lorry controls confidently and safelyStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectivelyExcellent communication skills and professional attitude towards clients and colleaguesTPBN1_UKTJ
