The school supports pupils with a range of special educational needs and places a strong emphasis on personalised learning, pupil wellbeing, and positive outcomes.The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs.We are looking for candidates who are:Experienced in supporting children with SEND, either in schools or similar settingsPatient, caring, and committed to helping pupils succeedFlexible and confident in adapting to individual pupil needsProactive and able to use their initiative within the classroomHold a Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification (desirable)Key ResponsibilitiesYour role may include:Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groupsAssisting the class teacher with tailored learning activitiesEncouraging pupil engagement, participation, and independenceSupporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needsHelping to maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environmentMonitoring and recording pupil progress where requiredCandidates must hold a valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to complete a new DBS check as part of the recruitment process.If you are passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and are looking for your next opportunity, we would love to hear from you.Due to the volume of applications received, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Why Classroom Teachers?Classroom Teachers stand at the forefront of education recruitment.
