We specialise in the manufacture of high-quality, precision engineered helical components for various industries. We are seeking a Miller and a Turner.What You'll Be DoingAs our CNC Setter-Operator for Turning operations or Milling operations, you'll set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components to rigorous quality standards.Set up and operate CNC turning machines with FANUC controlsInterpret technical drawings and modify programmes to part specificationsSelect and install cutting tools, attachments, and fixturesConduct quality control inspections using micrometers, gauges, and verniersMonitor operations and troubleshoot cutting conditionsPerform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performanceCollaborate with team members to optimise production processesWhat We're Looking ForMinimum three years' experience as time-served CNC Operator/Setter Turner on VMCs and HMCsFANUC experience and capable of setting machines for variety of componentsExperience producing complex components to very tight tolerancesAbility to work efficiently with minimum supervisionExperience using inspection equipment - micrometers, gauges, verniersQualified Advanced Modern Apprenticeship or recognised time-served certificationKnowledge of metal cutting techniques and Lean principlesFlexibility to work rotating shift pattern and overtime when requiredKnowledge of Doosan VMC/HMC would be advantageousWhat We OfferSalary: £17.75 - £18.62 per hour (plus premium overtime rates - overtime available)Benefits: 6% employer-matched pension, 4x basic life assurance, 33 holidays per year increasing to 38 with service, Employee Assistance Programme, Company Sick Pay Scheme, Service Recognition Scheme, Cash Health Plan and Gift at Christmas.Hours: Two-week rotating shift pattern, 38-hour week early finish on Friday:Week 1: Mon to Thurs: 5:45 till 14:05, Fri: 5:45 till 11:45Week 2: 14:05 till 22:20, Fri: 11:45 till 18:05You may have experience in the following: CNC Operator, CNC Machine Operator, Miller, VMC Operator, HMC Operator, CNC Programmer, CNC Engineer, Machinist and CNC SetterREF-229616TPBN1_UKTJ
