From timeless furniture pieces to thoughtful design advice, we're here to help our customers create their dream homes - and it all begins with exceptional service.We're looking for a warm and personable Design Assistant to join our superb team within our stunning Showroom in Cheltenham on a permanent full-time basis working 20 hours over 3 days of the week. You'll be someone who loves making people feel welcome, has exceptional customer service experience, a eye for interiors, and bring energy and organisation to everything you do.What you'll be doingAs a Design Assistant, you'll support our Designers with both creative work and the day-to-day administration that brings each project together. You'll work closely with customers in store, delivering a warm, thoughtful experience while preparing design presentation packs and assisting Installation Project Managers from initial concept through to completion. From carrying out design reviews and processing orders to being the first point of contact for after-care enquiries, you'll help ensure every detail is considered. Along the way, you'll also support the wider team's development by sharing and building design knowledge across the store.Responsibilities include:Review and revise CAD-based designs and quotationsPut together design quotes and presentation packsManage and progress multiple design projects, working closely with the design and installation project management teamsUpdate and maintain accurate customer records using a number of software packagesContinually build your Neptune product and system knowledge and support the wider store team in their design and system development tooActively contribute to the growth and development of the storeA little about youIdeally, you'll be a design graduate or have relevant training and experience, with a genuine ambition to build a career in design. Confident using CAD and advanced Microsoft Office tools, you'll also feel at ease working with a range of IT systems.
