This is a rewarding opportunity to provide consistent, person-centred care to an adolescent with a learning disability and epilepsy.About the Role You will be supporting a young person in a family home who requires reassurance, structure, and consistent support, especially at night. The client may display behaviours that challenge when feeling overwhelmed, so carers should remain calm, patient, and supportive at all times.We are looking for someone who is:Empathetic, patient, and understandingA good listener who can respond calmly to needsConfident in supporting behaviours that may challengeAble to build strong rapport with the client and familyWhat Youll Be Doing Providing personal and emotional supportSupporting and managing behaviours that may challenge in a calm and safe mannerMonitoring wellbeing and ensuring safety overnightSupporting with epilepsy carePromoting comfort, dignity, and reassurance at all timesWhat Were Looking For At least 1 year of care experienceA caring and professional approachWillingness to learn and follow care plansExperience in learning disabilities or similar settings (preferred)The client is based in RadstockThis role requires consistency and commitment to building trustPlease note: We do not hold a UK Sponsorship Licence.
