Credit Controller - Leatherhead - 3 month contract - £15 - £17 per hour + holiday pay - 3 days from homeRole PurposeTo manage the company's accounts receivable function by ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, maintaining accurate customer accounts, and minimising financial risk through effective credit control procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoicesProactively chase overdue payments via phone, email, and written correspondenceAllocate payments accurately to customer accountsAssess and monitor customer credit limits in line with company policyReview aged debt reports and escalate high-risk accountsResolve invoice disputes in coordination with internal departments (sales, billing, customer service)Prepare weekly and monthly debtor reports for managementSupport cash flow forecasting through accurate debt trackingMaintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the finance systemWhere necessary, initiate legal or third-party collection proceduresEssential Skills & RequirementsPrevious experience in credit control or accounts receivable roleStrong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to manage difficult conversations professionallyHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong organisational and time-management skillsRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
