This is an exciting opportunity to operate and lead flexographic print processes within a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment.Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional print standards while maintaining safe, efficient operations.As our Printer, you will:Set up and operate flexographic printing machinery safely and efficientlyMaintain high standards of health, safety, environmental and housekeeping practicesMonitor and control print quality, ensuring outputs meet production specificationsCarry out inspections, identify non-conformance issues and resolve defectsEnsure compliance with standards such as BRC, ISO, and A2 permitsPerform press changeovers and minimise waste in line with KPIsTroubleshoot and resolve print and machine issuesComplete all documentation and electronic records accurately and on timeSupport lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, SMED, continuous improvement)Conduct clear and effective shift handoversIn order to be successful in this role you must have:Proven experience as a Flexographic PrinterRelevant qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 advantageous)Strong background in packaging or label printing manufacturingExperience with Bobst printing machines (desirable)Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent)Understanding of quality, health, safety, and environmental standardsExposure to Lean / Six Sigma methodologies (advantageous)Plate mounting experience (desirable)Shift PatternThis role operates on a 12-hour rotating shift cycle (no weekends):Week 1: 2 days, 1 off, 2 nights, 2 offWeek 2: 3 nights, 6 offWeek 3: 3 days, 2 offSaica is an Equal Opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates.If you feel you have what it takes to be successful in this role then please click APPLY and submit your up to date CV and covering letter for consideration.No agencies please.TPBN1_UKTJ
