Line Leader Packing Days & NightsWe are currently recruiting for experienced Line Leaders to join a busy and fast-paced packing operation. Opportunities are available across both Day and Night shifts based in Wetherby LS22 on a permanent basis.Due to site location you must live local to site or have access to your own transport.SalaryDays: £34,785.33 per annumNights: £37,172.44 per annumShift Pattern12-hour shiftsDays and Nights availableThe RoleAs a Packing Line Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supporting your production line team to ensure all operational, safety, quality, and performance targets are achieved. You will play a key role in maintaining standards across production, hygiene, and team performance while ensuring efficient communication across shifts.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all work is carried out safely at all timesEnsure all line activity for the shift is understood and discussed with the wider team during the 07:00 / 19:00 shift meetings and communicated clearly to your allocated line teamMaintain your work area to the required GMP standardsEnsure production targets are achieved, including output, changeovers, hygiene, and giveaway targetsCarry out specific trained tasks including changeovers and allergen cleans across multiple areasWork closely with the Shift Manager / Supervisor to ensure your team are fully trained and capableComplete effective shift handovers with the oncoming Line Leader and ensure the line is left to the required standardUnderstand production plans and take proactive steps to ensure successful completionLead by example at all timesSkills & Competencies RequiredExcellent communication skillsAbility to support the development of SOPs and train team members effectivelyCapable of operating all equipment across the production linesUnderstanding of line targets and how to operate efficiently to achieve themStrong organisational and leadership skillsAbility to work effectively within a fast-paced production environmentEssential Qualifications & KnowledgeCandidates must hold or have knowledge of the following:HACCP Level 2Food Safety Level 2Allergen AwarenessCCP TrainedFLT CounterbalanceBenefitsCompetitive salary packagesPermanent full-time opportunitiesTraining and development opportunitiesSupportive team environmentCareer progression opportunitiesIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply today with your up-to-date CV.TPBN1_UKTJ
