This might be the opportunity for you!Here at GXO we are offering the opportunity for highly experienced Class 2 Lorry Drivers to join our delivery team out of our Dunstable distribution centre, LU5 5TA , for a large retail client.Youll be working on a full-time , permanent basis, working 40.25 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Start times between 02:00 and 07:00 .Pay, benefits and more:As a Class 2 Driver, youll receive:An annual salary of £36,024.42Fixed overtime ratesHoliday pay and Workplace pensionAccess to our Hapi App platform, offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!Opportunities for career development and progression, as well as ongoing annual CPC training, in a dynamic working environmentWhat youll do on a typical day:Ensure accurate, timely, and safe delivery of customer products, including multi-drop deliveries within agreed delivery windowsDelivering totes to retail locations, offload goods correctly, complete signed paperwork, and collect any agreed returns or wasteFollow all safe working practices, including correctly securing loads to minimise damage and always ensure safetyProvide excellent customer service, report vehicle defects to the Transport Office, and attend required training to fulfil the driver role effectivelyWhat you need to succeed at GXO:A full valid UK CATEGORY Class 2 licence, with valid digital tachograph card and driver CPCNo more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)Previous experience in multidrop, store deliveries preferable but not essentialExcellent customer service skills, both written and verbalMust have a good geographical knowledge, experience of driving in London is preferredWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chainsTPBN1_UKTJ
