Transport Analyst

Due toexceptional growthT&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Swadlincote for a Transport Analyst to join their friendly team on a Fixed-Termbasis .Hybrid working can be offered if desired, with 1-2 days required to attend the office.The role is initially for 6 months however they may be a possibility for extension . You will collaborate with all the teams on site, the European Road Hub team as well as other sites Transport Managers.Transport Analyst Job Details & Benefits ;£36,000 - £40,000 per annum (pro rata)5% Annual Company bonus paid based on Company profit and individual performance40 hour working weekMonday to Friday 8am-4.30pm 30 minute break25 daysholiday per year + bank holidays (pro rata)Fantastic training opportunitiesDiscounted shoppingEmployer Pension contribution up to a maximum of 12%Cycle to work schemeLife assurance x 4 annual earningsHealth insuranceFree on-site parkingCanteen facility on site & free tea / coffeeTransport Analyst Job Details ;Analyse the site OTIF and identify how to improve the site performanceAnalyse the transport costs and identify savings opportunitiesReview the site set up for route scheduling in SAP and adjust when requiredSupport the implementation of EDI with FedexSupport the implementation of the planning automation in SAP to more countriesWork with other departments on site to improve processesTransport Analyst Person Specification ;Minimum of 23 years experience in Logistics / Transports with proven experience with International Logistics and a good knowledge of incotermsExcellent organisational and analytical skills, confident with dataStrong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate data and utilize findings to make improvements, working with macros, pivot tables and queriesStrong systems aptitude, preferably a good knowledge of SAPThis is an excellent opportunity to join a great Company.
