An excellent opportunity for an experienced Quarry Plant Service Engineer to join a well-established company.Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.Salary: Competitive Salary of £65,000 PA Plus OTE.Location: Hemerdon Mine, Plymouth.About the Role:The company have a large processing contract in the newly re-opened Hemerdon Mine, near Plympton. Hemerdon Mine produces the precious-earth metal called Tungsten.They have an exciting opportunity for several experienced, enthusiastic and highly self-motivated Field Service Engineers to complement their established and successful team.The company are looking for team-players, who will work to the highest standards in problem solving, fault-finding, service and repair functions on quarry crushing and screening plant.Key Duties (but not limited too):Ensure all site operational tasks are being completed under the correct Health & Safety paperwork and in a safe mannerAssist Site with break downs as and when they occurCarry out routine maintenance to prevent downtimeCompile technical reports following services and breakdownLiaising with other team members to agree parts requirementsCompleting plant breakdowns and repairs in a timely mannerCompleting all plant equipment servicing and testingAssist on plant installations when requiredResolve on-site issues occurring during installations when requiredCompile lists of refurbishment requirements prior to plant removal / re-installationLiaise with Service team to resolve any ongoing site operational / technical issuesAssist in site operator awareness training to optimise plant performancePerformance Measures:Improve EfficiencyEssential InsightsReduce DowntimeOptimise performanceSkills & Experience:Relevant Engineering qualificationsCSCS Safe pass (non essential)Quarry passDriving license.
