We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding service, safety, and operational excellence for our customers.If you're passionate about engineering and problem-solving, but don't meet every requirement listed—we still encourage you to apply.The Role As a Field Service Engineer , you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a fleet of HYG and related equipment across customer sites.You'll focus on maximising equipment availability by diagnosing faults, carrying out effective repairs, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.Key Responsibilities Attend customer sites to assess equipment issues, agree priorities, and carry out repairs safelyCommunicate effectively with customers and internal teams to manage expectations on timescales and costsDiagnose faults quickly and identify root causes to minimise downtimeSource and utilise parts in the most cost-effective way, with support from technical teams when neededEnsure all work meets required engineering standards and manufacturer specificationsCarry out quality checks on completed work to ensure equipment is safe and fully operationalIdentify and communicate additional repair or maintenance opportunities to customersComplete all service documentation accurately and obtain required customer approvalsWhat We're Looking For A relevant technical/engineering qualificationExperience in a similar field service or maintenance roleStrong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systemsAbility to work independently and manage your own workloadStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressureA customer-focused mindset with good communication skillsWhat We Offer 40-hour working weekOvertime rates: 1.5x Monday–Saturday2x on Sundays25 days holiday , plus option to buy up to 3 additional days - subject to conditionsCompany vehicle (available for private use – subject to tax)Ongoing training and career development opportunitiesContributory pension scheme (up to 6% employer contribution)Profit share bonus based on company performanceHealth benefits including Paycare and eyecare schemesAccess to high street discountsWhat's Next?
