You'll work consistently in one location with the same client and the same team. That means genuine continuity, real relationships, and the time to truly understand your client's needs.Our client is a young person who loves music, nursery rhymes, cartoons like Peppa Pig and Cocomelon, being read to, and trips to the cinema. We're looking for carers who are warm, patient, engaging — and don't mind joining in with the occasional singalong.The RoleYou'll be part of a 2:1 care team in the client's home. An experienced Complex Care Assistant will lead on the clinical aspects of care, while you provide dedicated support with daily living activities, moving and handling, and ensuring the client remains safe, comfortable, and happy.What You'll Be DoingProviding dedicated support as part of a 2:1 team within the client's homeDelivering personal care with dignity and respectSupporting with moving and handlingAssisting with daily routines and activitiesCreating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environmentMonitoring wellbeing and reporting any concernsCompleting accurate care documentationWorking closely with family members and healthcare professionalsClinical CareDon't worry if you're new to these clinical tasks — full paid specialist training is provided through Routes Academy. Your responsibilities may include:Tracheostomy careVentilation supportPEG feedingMedication administrationClinical observationsWhat We're Looking ForEssentialMinimum 6 months' UK care experienceFull UK driving licence and access to your own vehicleCompassionate, reliable, and patient approachRight to work in the UKComfortable working within a family home environmentDesirableExperience supporting childrenPrevious experience with tracheostomy care, ventilation, or PEG feeding would be beneficialNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social CarePlease note: This is a female-only position due to the client's personal care needs, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
