With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and long-standing client relationships, the business continues to experience sustained growth across multiple sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, and residential developments.As part of their continued expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead and develop their commercial function from their Warrington office.The RoleAs Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for:Managing and overseeing the commercial performance of multiple faade and building envelope projectsLeading and mentoring a team of approximately 10 Quantity Surveyors across various project stagesEnsuring effective cost control, reporting, forecasting, and risk management across the businessOverseeing valuations, variations, subcontractor accounts, and final accountsSupporting senior leadership with strategic commercial decisions and business planningBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholdersEnsuring compliance with contractual obligations and company commercial proceduresDriving profitability and identifying opportunities for commercial improvement across projectsThe Ideal CandidateThe successful Commercial Manager will have:Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role within constructionPrevious experience managing commercial teams and mentoring Quantity SurveyorsStrong contractual and commercial knowledge, ideally across JCT and NEC contractsExperience within faades, cladding, curtain walling, or the building envelope sector would be highly advantageousAlternatively, strong commercial leadership experience from a blue-chip main contracting background will also be consideredExcellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skillsThe ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced environmentA proactive and commercially driven mindset with strong attention to detailWhat's on OfferCompetitive basic salary of £80,000 - £90,000Attractive benefits packageSenior leadership opportunity within a growing and well-respected specialist contractorLong-term career progression and stabilityOpportunity to play a key role in shaping and developing the commercial teamExposure to high-profile and technically challenging projects across the UKApply: If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist, Mark Harris.Building Careers UK specialises in Construction and Property recruitment and serves as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
