This role owns assigned technologies within the Device Category and is responsible for developing practical category strategies while working closely with Strategic Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality, and other business stakeholders to deliver consistent procurement outcomes.Reporting to the Senior Director Procurement - Devices Category and Strategic Sourcing Lead, the role plays a key part in building foundational category management capability, strengthening supplier engagement, and improving procurement effectiveness with clear accountability for long-term financial value delivery.This is a hands-on role suited for an experienced category professional who thrives in ambiguity and contributes to building structure, discipline, and consistency across procurement practiceEssential duties and responsibilitiesCategory Strategy & PlanningAct as the internal subject matter expert for assigned device categoriesDevelop actionable 3-5 year category roadmaps to drive savings and optimize P&L investmentsAlign procurement strategies with manufacturing and broader business needsSourcing & Execution PartnershipTranslate category strategies into execution in collaboration with Strategic Sourcing teamsProvide category expertise during RFx processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiationsEnsure value delivery and alignment with strategic objectivesSupplier Management & PerformanceDefine and implement supplier management strategies for key device suppliersLead supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement programsPartner with Quality and Manufacturing teams to ensure suppliers meet operational and compliance standardsYour Skills and ExperienceDo you have?Significant experience in category management or strategic sourcing, ideally in a pharmaceutical or medical device industryExperience tracking KPIs and driving Cost of Sales (COS) reduction through structured, multi-year plansKnowledge of device markets, supplier landscapes, and relevant regulatory considerationsExposure to multi-site procurement environmentsExperience developing procurement strategies in complex global organizationsAre you?A strong business partner who aligns procurement with stakeholder needsInfluential and clear in communicating sourcing strategiesResults-driven in delivering cost savings and supplier improvementsSkilled at building strong supplier relationshipsAnalytical with a commercial mindsetHighly organized with strong communication skillsExecution-focused and comfortable with ambiguityIf so - we would value hearing from you.How We'll Take Care of YouAt Teva, better health starts from within, and that includes you.
