Inspection Engineer

Impact Recruitment are currently supporting a client who are looking for a PDI Engineer where you will have the responsibility of accurately checking products and completing quality audits before delivery. In this role you will be responsible for conducting mechanical work, documentation, and working within a small team.Role: PDI EngineerLocation: Brackmills NorthamptonWorking Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am - 3:30pmSalary Range: £14.40 per hourContract: Temp to permYou will be responsible for ensuring that all products are finished to the highest quality and meet customer requirements.Responsibilities:Preparation of products before they leave the warehouseFitting additional genuine mechanical parts to productsFitting aftermarket parts such as attachments, safety devices, and hydraulic servicesGeneral fault finding and diagnostic tasksEnsuring excellent communication between departmentsCompleting PDI worksheets to a high standardLoading and unloading of containers as requestedHousekeeping in the warehouse and yardRequirements:Material handling experienceExperience with general mechanical servicing and repairsMechanical experienceGeneral electrical knowledgeAble to use and work with hand toolsHave a keen eye for detailMust be literate and able to complete paperworkIf you are interested in hearing more about this opportunity then please apply with an up to date CV.
