You'll play a vital role in keeping our site operating efficiently by carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to maintenance issues, and supporting the wider operational team. Youll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!What youll do on a typical day:Complete planned preventative maintenance activities to schedule and required standardCarry out plumbing repairs and small electrical works, including wiring and lighting maintenanceSupport site infrastructure projects, including physical maintenance tasks and equipment movesEnsure material handling equipment (MHE) remains safe, operational, and fit for purposeParticipate in the out-of-hours on-call rota following successful completion of probation and trainingWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Previous experience in plumbing, electrical, or general maintenance workLevel 2 qualification in a relevant maintenance discipline (Level 3 preferred)A proactive "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn new skillsThe ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively on your own initiativeA full, clean driving licence and flexibility to support on-call requirementsWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.TPBN1_UKTJ
