About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organised and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure the smooth, efficient flow of goods. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising operatives, managing workflows, and ensuring that all activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in line with company policies and KPIs.You will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence by coordinating labour, ensuring delivery processes run effectively, and driving performance improvements across the warehouse function. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will support quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise the receipt and accurate recording of all deliveries and intersite stock movementsPlan and monitor labour resources, including temporary and permanent staffEnsure efficient workflow planning to meet operational targets and KPIsAllocate tasks effectively to ensure all operatives remain productiveCarry out quality checks on operatives' work and address any issues promptlyEnsure all activities comply with Health & Safety regulations, proactively reducing operational riskPrepare and organise warehouse areas to support incoming deliveries and minimise handlingEnsure accurate and timely stock transactions and correct storage of productsMonitor staff performance, productivity, attendance, and conduct return-to-work interviewsConduct annual performance reviews and identify training and development needsMaintain high housekeeping standards across the warehouseEnsure equipment and plant are maintained in line with company policiesSupport internal audits and ensure quality issues are resolved efficientlyWork collaboratively with departments including Manufacturing, Distribution, Quality, and Health & SafetyUndertake relevant training, including IOSH Managing SafelyCarry out additional duties as reasonably requested by the Department ManagerWhat We Are Looking ForExperience working within a production or warehouse environmentStrong understanding of Health & Safety principles and commitment to complianceKnowledge of SAP systems (desirable)Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelExcellent organisational and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levelsAbility to monitor performance and drive improvements in productivity and qualityExperience in supervising or coordinating teams (preferred)A proactive approach to identifying training needs and supporting team developmentWhy Join UsOpportunity to take a key leadership role in a fast-paced, operational environmentBe part of a collaborative team working across multiple departmentsOngoing training and development, including recognised Health & Safety qualificationsA role where you can directly influence performance, efficiency, and quality standardsSupportive management structure focused on continuous improvement and employee developmentWe understand there's no one size fits all approach.
