Electrical Engineer Location: Saffron Walden, EssexSalary: £46,000Hours: Monday to FridayBenefits: Free On-Site ParkingAbout the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the engineering team at a prestigious research and commercial campus in Saffron Walden.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team responsible for maintaining a high-quality environment, ensuring all electrical systems and building services operate safely and efficiently.We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of building maintenance.Duties & Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systemsFault find and repair lighting, power, emergency lighting, and electrical distribution systemsSupport the maintenance of mechanical building services and associated plant where requiredConduct routine plant room inspections and ensure equipment is operating efficientlyComplete maintenance records and update CAFM systems accuratelyLiaise with contractors and the wider engineering team to ensure works are completed to a high standardEnsure compliance with health & safety regulations and site proceduresIdentify opportunities for remedial works and continuous improvementsAbout You Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)Previous experience within commercial building maintenanceStrong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skillsGood understanding of building services systems and plantA positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support the wider teamReliable, proactive, and able to build strong working relationshipsExcellent communication and customer service skillsWhat's on Offer £46,000 salaryMonday to Friday working hoursFree on-site parkingStatic-site role at a modern research and commercial campusOngoing training and career developmentSupportive engineering team with excellent long-term career prospectsTPBN1_UKTJ
