\nBasic Salary: £28,000 - £39,520
\nContract: Full Time, Term Time Only
\nHours: 37.5 hours per week

Your Role and Responsibilities\nAs a SEN Class Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:

- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the complex SEMH needs of all pupils. \n
- Supporting the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors. \n
- Reporting on pupils' progress and concerns, collaborating with other school staff to ensure all needs are met. \n
- Supervising pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips. \n
- Building positive relationships with your pupils to drive interaction and achieve positive learning outcomes. \n
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). \n
- Possess a strong educational background, ideally to degree level. \n
- Have previous successful teaching experience. \n
- Bring experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting. \n
- Demonstrate effective behavior management techniques. \n
- Be committed to professional development and eager to learn. \n
- Willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work. \n

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which will be covered by Polaris Education.
