Responsibilities\n- \n
- Lead and oversee legal work relating to client agreements across EMEA, including investment management mandates and strategic partnership agreements \n
- Review, draft, and negotiate sophisticated legal documentation with large and often international counterparties \n
- Support EMEA Product teams and other Invesco functions on legal and regulatory matters \n
- Monitor regulatory developments impacting products and distribution, and provide practical, business-focused advice \n
- Advise on legal risks related to new strategies, products, and initiatives \n
- Support regulatory matters, corporate initiatives, internal policies, and processes \n
- Act as a collaborative member of Invesco's global Legal group, contributing to a strong, solutions-oriented culture \n
- \n
- Strong post-qualification legal experience within asset management, financial services, or a leading law firm \n
- Solid understanding of MiFID investment services, regulated funds, and the broader financial services regulatory framework \n
- Experience advising asset management or investment businesses \n
- Confidence managing negotiations with sophisticated counterparties \n
- Exposure to both common law and civil law systems (highly valued) \n
- Legal qualification in a common-law jurisdiction, with eligibility to practice in the UK \n
- Additional civil law qualification is a strong advantage \n
- Excellent English; business-level German or Italian is a significant plus \n
- Comfort operating in a multicultural, international environment \n

- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and move matters forward efficiently \n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills \n
