Quantity SurveyorSevenoaks, Kent£50,000 - £65,000 + Car AllowanceHill McGlynn Recruitment are proud to be working with a well-established and growing roofing and refurbishment contractor who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Sevenoaks.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step, to join a forward-thinking business delivering roofing, fit out, refurbishment, and maintenance projects across the South East. Working closely with the business owner, you'll play a key role in managing multiple projects from inception through to final account, with genuine opportunities for long-term career progression as the company continues to grow.The RoleAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered profitably while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging multiple roofing, refurbishment, and fit out projects from tender through to final accountPreparing cost plans, budgets, valuations, and final accountsReviewing contracts and tender documentationProcuring subcontractors and negotiating supplier quotationsManaging subcontractor accounts, applications, and paymentsMonitoring project costs and identifying opportunities to maximise profitabilityPreparing and submitting interim valuations and payment applicationsPricing variations and managing change control throughout projectsProducing cost reports and forecasting project performanceLiaising with clients, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliersCarrying out site visits across the South East as requiredSupporting the successful commercial delivery of several smaller-value projects simultaneouslyRequirementsPrevious experience as a Quantity Surveyor within roofing, refurbishment and fit outExperience managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finishDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or significant relevant industry experienceStrong commercial awareness and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and organisational abilitiesFull UK Driving LicenceWhat's on Offer£50,000 - £65,000 salary depending on experienceCar allowancePermanent role based in Sevenoaks (mainly hybrid role)Occasional site visitsFlexible approach to working hours where requiredOpportunity to join an ambitious and growing businessGenuine career progression with the opportunity to grow alongside the companySupportive and collaborative working environmentIf you're a Quantity Surveyor looking to join a growing contractor where you can make a real impact and develop your career, Hill McGlynn Recruitment would be delighted to speak with you.Apply today to find out more.TPBN1_UKTJ
