The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to multiple locations within designated areas, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. Previous delivery driver experience and a valid driver licence are highly desirable. The position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for career growth in logistics and transportation.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a delivery vehicle to complete multiple daily deliveries across assigned routesLoad and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly during transitPlan delivery routes efficiently to optimise time and fuel consumptionConfirm delivery details with recipients and obtain necessary signatures or documentationMaintain accurate records of deliveries made, including any discrepancies or issues encounteredCommunicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or delaysConduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptlyAdhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times during deliveriesSkillsProven experience as a delivery driver, preferably within commercial or warehouse environmentsValid driver licence no more than 3 pointsStrong driving skills with knowledge of local roads and traffic regulationsAbility to perform heavy lifting when loading or unloading goodsExcellent organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficientlyGood communication skills for liaising with customers and team membersAbility to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctualityPhysical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including prolonged periods of driving and manual handling tasksFor further information please contact Tina on 02895219313 or email cv to link belowTPBN1_UKTJ
