Project EngineerLocation: North East England, NorthumberlandSalary: £35,000 per annumJob Type: Permanent | Full Time | Office BasedAbout the RoleAn opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join an established engineering projects team delivering bespoke mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. Working closely with design, production and customers, you will take ownership of projects from contract award through to installation, commissioning and final acceptance.Key ResponsibilitiesIntegrate engineering design solutions into live projectsIdentify, assess and manage technical risks throughout project executionPrepare specifications for outsourced components, assemblies and servicesProduce and manage installation, commissioning and technical documentationRespond to customer technical queries and provide engineering supportLead the completion of risk assessments and functional design specificationsCompile and close Technical Construction FilesAct as the technical lead during installation, commissioning and system trialsLiaise with internal departments to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specificationWhat We're Looking ForHNC/HND or Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplinePrevious experience in a project engineering, design engineering or similar technical roleStrong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications and documentationAbility to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within a project environmentGood communication skills and a practical, problem-solving approachWillingness to undertake occasional UK and overseas travel when requiredAdditional InformationPlease note that sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available for this position.Due to location a driving licence and access to a car is required.TPBN1_UKTJ
